Nice
Maybe this one is too 'out there' for now
Getting hard to separate scifi from reality with how fast things seem to be moving
We are still way too far away to even seriously entertain this question that I posed, but for VC specifically - not public markets - someone raising a fund now maybe thinking about this if they are going to lock up investments for 10 yrs.
This is just a thought exercise.
And if you look too much into this, it might drive you mad. AI is definitely in a hype cycle right now.
And the more you focus on it, the more that it changes your filter on reality. And it gets harder to separate science fiction from what is happening here and now.
So please note all of the above is theoretical of course. But aspects of this central theme could play out during this decade.
What I do believe is going to happen is: startups will change in how they go to market and their teams, and VC’s will also change their approach. Many VC's will continue to win.
